Guess Who?

Okay - I have a question for you. I am going to give you three choices to identify the guy on the left of the picture. If you are not sure which is the left, he is the young man pretending to grab Hillary Clinton's boobie. Yes - that guy. OK, here are the choices. Is he:
  1. Fraternity pledge at a college party?
  2. Young republican prankster?
  3. Guy trying to win Rolling Rock Beer Outrageous Photo Contest?

OK...did you pick one? Well, I have to admit - it was a trick question. None of the options are correct. The young man on the left of the photo is 27 year old Jon Favreau, who has been officially named as Barack Obama's Presidential Speech Writer. Jon recently moved to Washington, DC, and has has had a hand in (no pun intended) practically every speech that the president-elect has delivered over the last four years. Mr. Favreau, a 2003 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., began his writing career for Senator John Kerry’s presidential campaign.

So, when it comes down to it, will this photo that showed up oh-so-briefly on someone's Facebook page cost Jon Favraeu his position? Nah, probably not. But it does make you wonder how Jon Favreau answered Question No. 63 of Obama's applicants request that asks that applicants "please provide any other information ... that could ... be a possible source of embarrassment to you, your family, or the President-Elect." Years ago, all you had to do was make sure that you got the originals and the negatives of embarrassing photos. Now, thanks to the digital age, the proof of poor judgment can last forever.
