Questions to Ponder

Some questions to ponder this Friday late afternoon:

1.  If what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, can they report that it has snowed?

2.  Can Al Franken be considered the "Hardest Working Man in the Senate?"  Truthfully - how hard has this guy worked to get in?  I know not in yet - but seems inevitable.

3.  I was watching a Mickey Mouse Christmas with my daughter today.  Donald Duck, Daisy Duck (and Huey, Duey and Louie) were all sitting down for Christmas dinner.  Daisy had cooked a big turkey.  Is there something wrong with that?  Just seems too canabalistic to me.

4.  Blagojevich had his first press conference today and swore his innocence. He claims that he is the victim of a political lynch mob.  How much chutzpah does this guy have?  With what has been recorded, how can he say that?  Is he being paid off to cover something bigger? I just don't get it.  As an aside, what kind of shampoo do you think he uses? I bet, Prell.

5.  Palin's pregnant daughter's fiance's mother was arrested in a drug raid.  Is it sad that it happened, or sadder that it is news?

6.  Why does there have to be a religious representative at the Presidential Inauguration?  This year Obama is getting flack for inviting Rick Warren (pro-life, anti gay marriage, etc).  To me, it is just Obama's first official day at work. I didn't bring my Rabbi with me when I started my most recent job.
