Maybe it's just me - I can be paranoid - but something about McCain's comment regarding Obama's fundraiser with Hollywood supporters felt uncomfortably anti-semitic:
"He talked about siding with the people ... just before he flew off to Hollywood for a fundraiser with Barbra Streisand and his celebrity friends," McCain said of Obama. "Let me tell you, my friends, there is no place I'd rather be than here, with the working men and women of Ohio."
The disdain in his voice as he said it, felt like he was all but saying, "Barbra Streisand and his other Jewish friends." The crowd cheering in response to the statement reinforced my paranoia. Who knows? Could be true, or just me being "mental with Yentl."
