First Blog Posting for Just Outside Philly

This is my initial blog post for Just Outside Philly. I started out using Twitter - which has become my daily source of information for politics and current events. There are many smart and interesting people out there. I initially thought that Twitter would serve as a spot to keep a sort of diary of my daughter's life and changes. She is 5 years old now. As I became more connected to Twitter, I realized that I was taking out much more information than I was putting in. Now Twitter has become a virtual set of friends; a sort of community.
On my description of myself for Twitter, I wrote that I have a daughter but don't have blog. Will have to change that now. Will see what blog becomes. You never know. May take off and become something not aware of at this point - or may fade away.
