Sometimes I have answers, sometimes I have questions. This is one of those times where I have several things that I am wondering...
I wonder what kind of flack President Obama will get for having his first formal interview be with the Arabic cable TV network, Al-Arabiya? This was happening just a special envoy to the Middle East, George Mitchell, was heading off to begin work on negotiating a cease fire between Israel and the Palestinians. Even David Gergen, political commentator on CNN, seemed surprised by Obama's boldness while discussing it with Anderson Cooper last evening. Reaching out like that does take guts.
How bizarre is it that Ron Blagojevich's audio tapes were at his impeachment trial, but Ron wasn't? Instead, he was making appearances on almost every television show, except Wheel of Fortune (I think that Vana wouldn't agree to let him touch her letter board). Here is a clip from his appearance on The View:
Doesn't it seem that the press is referring to the Hillary Clinton't State Department as "Foggy Bottom," much more than during reigns of other Secretaries of State? Do you think that it has something to do with their disdain of her pantsuits?
