Not just for Hillary....

Just learned that the $700 Billion Bail Out was defeated. The financial rescue bill fails in the House, 205 yeas to 227 nays. Rep. Frank says that he is, "appalled republicans are pointing finger at Pelosi," for their not voting for the bill. This is in regard to her pre-vote speech (see above), which was very praising of Bill Clinton and blaming of George W. Bush. Chairman of Financial Services (Frank) says during a presser that he doesn’t understand the GOP leadership’s strategy. “Because somebody hurt their feelings they decided to punish the country.”

After hearing this Barney Frank comment, I couldn't help but think about the circular chain of events and the concept of karma. Did Nancy Pelosi encounter the same misogyny that Hillary Clinton did during her campaign run? Did it all boil down to the fact that a group of men are not going to do what a "whining" or "nagging" woman tells them to do, unless she is young, kind of cute, maybe from Alaska, doesn't appear as a threat, and carries a big gun?
